by Nakasone family who lives in Motobu located

northern Okinawa. Nakasone san who is a believer

started to grow Moringa and collect honey to make

products that are good for our body. Please taste this

沖縄北部に位置する本部町に住む仲宗根さんが作ったオー

ガニックはちみつとモリンガパウダー。クリスチャンの仲

宗根さんはある時、身近で取れる、体にいいものをみんな

に食べて欲しいとモリンガを育て、はちみつを集め始めま

した。仲宗根さんが心を込めて作った健康にとても良いこ

PRAISE COFFEE 

Located in Nanjo City, in the southern part of Okinawa,

inside the wonderful Praise ChurchCafe, Praise Coffee!

The coffee tastes so good that it has been featured in

coffee magazines.Cafe is open for mothers to bring

their children two days a week to spend a relaxing

time.He carefully selects the beans, roasts them

himself, and brews his own coffee. Once you have

tasted the coffee, you will always want to go back.

沖縄の南部、南城市にある、プレイズチャーチ内の素敵な

カフェ、プレイズコーヒー!コーヒー雑誌にも載るほど、そ

の味は確かで、週に二日開くカフェには近所のお母さん達

が子供達を連れてゆっくりした時間を過ごしにきます。ユ

ースの牧師であり、カフェのバリスタでもある池原仰一さ

んは豆を厳選し、自分で焙煎、淹れています。一度味わう

と、必ずまた行きたくなるプレイズコーヒーの3種類のド

YAEDAKE BAKERY COOKIES

The Yaedake Bakery is located deep inside Yaedake,

the second highest mountain on the main island of

Okinawa, in Motobu-cho, northern Okinawa.Yaedake

Bakery was started in 1977 by a Christian couple, Mr.

and Mrs. Higa.They use whole wheat flour, no dairy,

no eggs, no margarine, and are very healthy cookies.

We chose our four favorite varieties! The Yaedake

Bakery's vast land. There is a path that climbs up to the

high point of Yaedake, and at the top of the path is a

cross. stands there, unaffected by rain or typhoons.

The view of the beautiful sea and islands from there is

impressive. We often climb this mountain to praise and

pray for Okinawa. Let's all come one day and pray and

praise together!

八重岳ベーカリーのクッキー

沖縄北部、本部町にある沖縄本島の中で二番目に高い山、

八重岳の奥深くに位置する八重岳ベーカリー。クリスチャ

ンの比嘉さん夫婦が1977年に始めたパン屋さんで、全粒粉

を使い、乳製品や卵、マーガリンを使わない体に優しいク

ッキーです。色々な種類の中から、私たちの一番好きな4

種類を選びました! 八重岳ベーカリーの広大な土地の中に

は八重岳の高い場所に登る道があり、その頂上には十字架

が雨にも台風にも負けずそこに立っています。そこから眺

める美しい海と島々は感動的です!私たちはよくこの山に登

り、沖縄のために賛美し祈ります。皆さんもいつか来て一

緒に祈り賛美しましょう!

YAGAJI SALT

Handmade salt from Yagaji Island

Yagaji Island is located in the northern part of Okinawa,

between the main island of Okinawa and the famous

tourist destination of Kouri Island. Yagaji Island is a

quiet farm landscape. Airakuen, a facility for leprosy

patients started by missionaries, is located on the island.

Most of the people on the island, which still retains its

beautiful scenery, made their living by selling salt.

I think God has a special plan for this place, just as we

Christians are salt of the earth! The natural sea salt is

made by drying the seawater of Yagaji Island in the sun

and boiling it down slowly in an iron kettle. It is full of

minerals and has a mild taste.Please try it!

屋我地島の手作り塩

沖縄北部、沖縄本島と観光地で有名な古宇利島を結ぶように

位置する静かな農園風景の広がる屋我地島。宣教師が始めた

ハンセン氏病患者のための施設、愛楽園があります。

今でも美しい風景を残すこの島のほとんどの人々は昔、塩を

売ることで生計を立てていたと聞きます。私たちクリスチャ

ンが地の塩であるようにこの場所には特別な神様の計画があ

るように思います!屋我地島の海水を天日干しし、鉄釜でじっ

くりと煮詰めてできた天然海塩。ミネラルたっぷりでまろや

かな味です。是非ご賞味ください!

YANBARU SHIKUWASA JUS

Okinawa citrus(Shikwasa) Juice

This is undiluted juice made from Yanbaru citrus

(Shikwasa) fruit, without any additives, preservatives, or

coloring agents.The nobiletin contained in this juice.

Nobiletin contained in this citrus(Shikwasa) juice

suppresses the rise of blood sugar level, inhibits

carcinogenesis, and prevents chronic rheumatism. It is

also recommended to dilute it 5-8 times and drink it with

honey. I hope you all enjoy it. You will see many citrus

(Shikwasa) fruits everywhere in Okinawa from September

to November! It is an Okinawan dialect word meaning

“ make something useful (sah) by making clothes eat the

sourness (shih). when washing. The name comes from the

fact that it was used to wash basho cloth (Clothings made

by Banana tree fibres) in Okinawa.

やんばるのシークヮーサー果汁

やんばるの青切りシークヮーサーを使った添加物、保存料、

着色料などを一切使用していない、原液です。シークヮーサ

ーに含まれるノビレチンは血糖値の上昇を抑え、発がん抑制

作用や、慢性リウマチの予防や治療にも効果があることがわ

かっています。レモンの代わりに使っても良いですし、5-8倍

に薄めてはちみつなどと一緒に飲むのもオススメです。皆さ

んも9月ごろから11月ごろに沖縄に来たらたわわに実るシーク

ヮーサーの木をあちこちに見ることができるでしょう!ちなみ

にシークヮーサーの言葉の由来は、衣類に酸味(シー)を食わせ

て(クヮース)使うモノ(サー)という意味の沖縄方言です。沖縄

の芭蕉布を洗う時に使われていたことからこの名前になった
